The Spanish point guard Carlos Alocén has renewed this Thursday as a Real Madrid player, with whom he has reached an agreement until June 30, 2025, according to a statement issued by the white club.
“Real Madrid CF and Carlos Alocén have agreed to extend the player’s contract, which will remain linked to the club until June 30, 2025,” Real Madrid announced in an official statement.
The 22-year-old player from Zaragoza spent the 2022-23 campaign in the ‘dry dock’ due to a serious knee injury, but in his three years with the Madrid team he has participated in five titles, including a Euroleague, a League Endesa and three Spanish Super Cups.
In his career, Alocén has won the ACB Best Young Player award twice, in 2019 and 2020, and in the 2019, 2020 and 2021 seasons, he was part of the league’s Best Young Quintet.
