Alexander Zverev easily reached the semifinals at the ATP tournament in Cincinnati and a week and a half before the start of the US Open will face Novak Djokovic in a showdown. The German won 6-2 6-3 against Frenchman Adrian Mannarino on Friday evening (local time) and is thus in the semifinals of the tournament he won in 2021.
After his victory in just 72 minutes, the duel with Djokovic is now waiting, who also had no great trouble in the 6: 0 6: 4 over the American Taylor Fritz. The second semi-final will be played by Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz and Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz.
