Lengdorf – They have been going through life as “Alex & Alex” for almost ten years. And now both are also called Reger, because Alexandra Schwarz (29) said “yes” to her Alexander in the Lengdorf registry office and also took his name. The two of them celebrated in their own garden with around 70 people, including many football specials from the Lengdorfer Kickers. The big wedding party will follow next year after the church wedding, says the 34-year-old.
It all started at the end of 2013 with a private party in the “Zieglhuaba Heisl” – a small place that, given this story, may well be called a “romantic nest” in the future. In any case, it was there that Alexander Reger saw his future wife for the first time. And since 2014 they have been the duo “Alex & Alex”.
In November last year, he decided to officially do the whole thing with the administrative specialist, which “was a bit difficult at times,” as the groom reveals. Because the evening he had decided on was pretty packed with the check-in the night before and a birthday dinner at his buddy Mathias Holzner’s. “Somehow I ran out of time to propose,” he admits. We don’t know if his job as a calculation engineer helped him, but he must have conveyed the question of all questions (“It was in our kitchen”) quite romantically and convincingly. The 36 roses he held in his hand might also have been of some help. Why actually 36? “Because the Matts[Holzner]turned 36 and I wasn’t sure how many to take anyway.”
After the wedding in the Lengdorf registry office, a fine meal was served in the Wolfganger Gasthaus Schex before the party began in the Reger garden. Now it’s off to Lake Garda and Tuscany for a few days. “Honeymoon light” is what Alexander Reger calls it. A tour of several weeks through the USA is then planned for next year.
And in between, they also play football. Alex Reger will get back into the district league. Recently he has held back a little. After all, he didn’t want to limp to the registry office, he says with a laugh. pir
