Alanra, a new exponent of the Mexican regional – El Sol de México

Sonoran Alanra, a new exponent of regional Mexican music, has just released Para no encontranos, his new song, which along with the previous ones Waking up my neighbors and Lemon, salt and tequila, are his letter of introduction, produced by Joss Favela, which he will release on a self-titled album on his debut.

In an interview with El Sol de México, after offering his first showcase in Mexico City, he informed that he will accompany Joss Favela at his concert on September 2 at the Lunario. “I am going to be the guest of Joss, who has been my idol since I was 13 years old and today is my music producer. I will duet a song with him, which we haven’t chosen yet.”

Alanra will also perform on September 10 at the Arre 2023 Festival at the Hermanos Rodríguez Racetrack in Mexico City, “sharing the stage with Featherweight, Edén Muñoz, Majo Aguilar, Pesado and others; talented artists that I admire a lot, my music is going to twin with them, and I will also include in the repertoire some covers that carry my style”.

Alanra explained that she writes about love and heartbreak, although she also has other lyrics of a festive nature, “I will not stop exploiting feelings because I like to capture in my lyrics what people feel and how they love, knowing people is my source of inspiration”.

He confessed that he would like to collaborate with Siddhartha, the former member of the rock group Zoé, because “I respect all genres, I like music without labels, it’s incredible just to see as a spectator that other styles and subgenres have caught on here in Mexico and in other countries, I like that and I respect it because they are reaching new audiences”.
