Ajax Poised to Sign Goalkeeper Diant Ramaj for €12 Million Transfer Fee

Ajax pulls the wallet for Diant Ramaj. The total transfer fee for the goalkeeper of Eintracht Frankfurt can reach twelve million euros, journalist reports Luca Bendoni Tuesday evening. That amount would include ‘many variables’, so the fixed amount is lower.

It is not known how much money Ajax initially pays. The total amount of twelve million euros is in any case remarkably high. Ramaj, a German goalkeeper with Albanian roots, has only played two Bundesliga games for Eintracht Frankfurt in the past three years. He still has a contract with the club until mid-2027.

Ajax wants to buy off that contract and would have reached an agreement with Ramaj, who will undergo a medical examination on Tuesday evening, according to journalist Bendoni. The 21-year-old goalkeeper can then sign a multi-year contract in the Johan Cruijff ArenA.

According to The Telegraph is Ajax willing to rent out Jay Gorter. Otherwise he would become third choice in Maurice Steijn’s selection corps. Another keeper of Ajax, Remko Pasveer, recently broke his metacarpals, so that he will not be available for a number of months.
