Diant Ramaj was taken over by Ajax from Eintracht Frankfurt for an amount of millions. Agent Rob Jansen finds it remarkable that Ajax paid such a high amount for the second goalkeeper of Eintracht Frankfurt.
“Yes, that is an absurd transfer,” says Jansen in the podcast KieftJansenEgmondGijp. “I don’t say that because I’m subjective (Jansen is John Heitinga’s agent, ed.). If he had gone to Feyenoord or PSV for this amount, I would have said the same.”
Jansen has doubts about the course of events during the transfer. “Something is not right there, something strange is going on there,” says Jansen. “That’s a transfer: that’s not possible. Almost everyone agrees, but it’s still happening. Maybe we should look at that again…”
