The twelfth edition of the Mexican Baseball Fiesta in Tucson will take place October 5-8 and will count —for the third time— with the participation of the team from the University of Arizonathe organizers announced this Friday.
The event has become a tradition for the Hispanic community that lives on the other side of the border, since every year it brings together teams from the Mexican Pacific League prior to the start of the regular season of Mexican winter baseball.
Hermosillo orange groves is one of the clubs that has taken part in each of these editions, along with the Yaquis of Obregonand they will be present again on this occasion accompanied by the Eagles of Mexicali and Mayos of NavojoaBesides Wildcatswho have joined this event in the last 3 years.
Mike Feder and Francisco Gamezfounders of the Mexican Baseball Fiesta, presented this year’s edition in the company of the Mexican consul in Tucson, Rafael Barcelo; the general manager of Naranjeros, John Aguirre; Eduardo Meza, of the Eagles of Mexicali; the coach Chip Hale, of the Arizona Wildcats; as well as Frank Gamezfrom the organizing committee, directors of Visit Tucson, Vamos a Tucson and different sponsors.
 
As has been a tradition, the Mexican Baseball Fiesta in Tucson will bring all the excitement of Mexican baseball to the Arizona fans, as well as the atmosphere, music and everything that is lived in the stadiums of the LMP.
