Youri Tielemans was officially unveiled at Aston Villa on Saturday.
As announced by the Premier League club from Birmingham, the 26-year-old Belgian has been given a contract until 2026.
Tielemans suffered relegation from the Premier League with his club Leicester City last season. Now he joins the “Villans” on a free transfer.
The central midfielder joined England from AS Monaco in 2019. With a transfer fee of 45 million euros, he is still the most expensive newcomer in Leicester City’s history.

Relegated Leicester strikes back on the transfer market
Leicester City had to let some stars go after relegation. James Maddison, among others, recently switched to Tottenham for 46.3 million euros.
