‘If you have to pee, you have to pee’, Jonas Vingegaard must have thought during stage 14 to Morzine. The yellow jersey wearer was fined for urinating in public. According to the UCI, he made that mistake after 81 kilometers into the race. The Dane has to cough up 200 Swiss francs.

Sports director Rik Verbrugghe of Israel-Premier Tech was also fined 500 Swiss francs. The caretaker Dymtro Borysov was too far down the road and was a danger, the competition jury ruled.
