Women’s World Cup: cheering on the Azzurri at open-door training – Soccer

Many supporters and enthusiasts attended Italy’s first open-door training session in Auckland, just over a week before their debut at the Women’s World Cup, on 24 July against Argentina in the sailing city. Before returning to the changing rooms, the group led by Milena Bertolini took photos and signed autographs with everyone present.


In the early afternoon, however, the Italian delegation received the applause of more than 100 compatriots, who wanted to get to know, greet and support the team before the start of the competition in a meeting with the Italian community organized by the Embassy. “Thank you for coming, I bring you the greetings of federal president Gabriele Gravina who I have the privilege of representing in this mission to New Zealand – declared the head of delegation of the national team, Stefano Braghin – we are very happy to be here with you. One reason moreover, to win matches it will be to want to reciprocate your extraordinary welcome”.
