Bundesliga club WAC has hit the transfer market. The Lavanttaler committed the Canadian 1.93 meter tall central defender Scott Kennedy, who had recently kicked at the German second division relegated Jahn Regensburg. The 26-year-old signed a two-year contract with the “Wolves” with an option for a further year. The left foot already has an Austrian past: Kennedy played for Grödig in 2017/18 and then for two years for Austria Klagenfurt.

According to WAC coach Manfred Schmid, Kennedy “as a Canadian team player brings a lot of international experience and will strengthen our defense”.
