Villarreal announced this Monday the signing of the Spanish-Moroccan winger Ilias Akhomach, who is 19 years old and comes from the Barcelona youth academy, for the next four seasons.
The player will join the ranks of Villarreal in their concentration in Switzerland when he finishes his participation in the European Under-19 with the Spanish team, and will complete the preseason in first-team dynamics.
Ilias Akhomach has played 23 games this season with Barça Atlètic in the RFEF First Division, with which he has scored one goal, and eight games with the Juvenil A azulgrana, with whom he scored two goals, one in the Division of Honor and another in the League UEFA Youth.
In addition, the new yellow player has also had his minutes with the culé first team in the 2021-2022 season with a total of three appearances; two of them in LaLiga and one in the Copa del Rey.
