The U-17 Indonesian national team is now officially in pot 1 of the 2023 U-17 World Cup drawing, aka entering the top group. Upon this decision, one of the Vietnamese media, The Thao247, seemed overheated.
The Vietnamese media then alluded to the failure of Bima Sakti’s team to qualify for the U-17 Asian Cup.
As is known, initially the Indonesian national team did not qualify for the 2023 U-17 World Cup because they did not penetrate the 2023 U-17 Asian Cup which is one of the qualifying routes.
However, the Indonesian national team will still participate in the 2023 U-17 World Cup thanks to host status.

In the world youth player competition, Bima Sakti’s U-17 national team will occupy pot 1 with strong teams such as Brazil to Japan.
Because of this, the Vietnamese media seemed to be hot with this and did not accept it. They brought up the failure of the U-17 Indonesian National Team in the U-17 Asian Cup Qualification
“Indonesia is in the top group at the U-17 World Cup,” wrote The Thao247 quoted from bolatimes.com (Suara.com Network), Monday (3/7/2023).
“Initially, Indonesia played very badly, the material did not qualify for the 2923 U-17 Asian Cup. However, being selected as the host helped the Garuda team automatically enter the superior group,” added the Vietnamese media.
It is known that there are four other Asian representatives at the 2023 U-17 World Cup. They are Japan, South Korea, Iran and Uzbekistan who have qualified from the U-17 Asian Cup route.
