During the FIP federal council, the registrations for the Serie A2 Old Wild West championship and the relative groups were ratified
The Umana San Giobbe Basket has been included in the red group with Flats Service Fortitudo Bologna, Benedetto XIV Cento, UEB Gesteco Cividale, Unieuro Pallacanestro 2.015 Forlì, Nardò Basket, Agribertocchi Pallacanestro Orzinuovi, UCC Assigeco Piacenza, Rivierabanca Rinascita Basket Rimini, Trieste Basketball, Apu Old Wild West Udine, Tezenis Scaligera Verona.
For the third time in a row the Tuscan training (the only one in A2 after the promotion of Pistoia) will be part of the red group of the second national series and therefore will find many of the teams already faced in previous seasons. The challenges with Piacenza, included in the last two years in the green group, with Trieste, relegated from Serie A, with Orzinuovi, drawn from Serie B, while the challenge with Verona returns after a year.
The next step of the 2023/24 season will be the compilation of the calendar which will be announced on August 2nd.
