Manuel Neuer is not fit yet. Bayern are looking for a goalkeeper. There should have been talks.

According to a media report, the German soccer record champion FC Bayern Munich is considering signing goalkeeper Yassine Bounou (32).

There has already been an exchange with the keeper from FC Sevilla, reported Sport1. The goalkeeper from Morocco has been the undisputed number 1 in the Europa League winners since 2020. The Spanish first division club had lost a friendly match at second division club FC Hansa Rostock 2-1, and Bounou was not part of the Andalusians’ squad. Bounou was also absent in Sevilla’s 1:3 in the test against second division club 1. FC Magdeburg.

The goalkeeping situation at FC Bayern is currently complicated. National goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is still injured, Swiss Yann Sommer and Alexander Nübel (26) do not want to be satisfied with the reserve role and are said to be leaving the club. Nübel is said to be in promising negotiations with VfB Stuttgart. Sommer is associated with Inter Milan.

Hoffenheim goalkeeper Oliver Baumann (33) should also be under discussion with Bayern. “I also noticed the reports about it. I understand the speculation because I’ve been in the league for a long time and only have one year of contract left. But I’m not dealing with it at the moment,” Baumann told the German Press Agency at the TSG training camp in Kitzbühel, Austria.
