On Monday afternoon, the transfer to the newly promoted Bundesliga side was officially confirmed by Schalke. Pieringer has signed a four-year contract in Heidenheim. Schalke lets Marvin Pieringer go: “All sides benefit”
Sports director André Hechelmann explains Schalke’s decision to let Pieringer move to Heidenheim as follows: “Marvin drew attention to himself during his time in Paderborn and was thus given the opportunity to play in the Bundesliga. He approached us with the desire to seize this opportunity. We finally reached an agreement with Heidenheim that benefits all sides. We wish Marvin all the best for his sporting and private future.”
