The man – according to an initial reconstruction by the forces of order – would have tried to stop the heavy vehicle from a steep plane, but without success: he was overwhelmed and trapped under the van. When help arrived on site, unfortunately there was nothing more they could do for him: he was already in cardiac arrest and died shortly after. The firefighters were only able to extract it by jacking up the van with air cushions.
