Tour de France Rankings After Eighth Stage: Mads Pedersen Takes Top Spot in Points Classification

How are the rankings after the eighth stage of the Tour de France?

Between Libourne and Limoges the question was whether the escapees would decide for the victory, or the classic drivers. The second turned out to be the case, although the sprinters also had their say. Along the way we lost an absolute top sprinter with Mark Cavendish, will we ever see him in the race again? The winner was Mads Pedersen, who thus settled into the top 3 of the points classification.

Simon Yates was hit in the standings because he crashed less than ten kilometers from the finish. Steff Cras was also involved in that fall, he had to give up.
