Toronto Blue Jays Dominate in Doubleheader Win Against Chicago White Sox

The Toronto Blue Jays exploded in 11e game to win the first game of a doubleheader on Thursday in Chicago against the White Sox, by a score of 6 to 2.

Due to rain that forced the postponement of Wednesday’s game, Toronto and Chicago are playing a doubleheader.

George Springer set the tone for the game-winning push in extra innings by hitting a single that allowed Cavan Biggio to cross the plate. Bo Bichette, Daulton Varsho, Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Cavan Biggio also contributed.

It was mainly the starting pitchers of the two teams who stood out during the first confrontation. Jays gunner Jose Berrios faced off against Lance Lynn.

Berrios pitched seven full innings only giving up one hit to the opponent which was made by Elvis Andrus in the third inning. The right-handed pitcher banked six outs at the plate during his performance.

Lynn does not have to be ashamed of her performance despite the setback of hers. He allowed just one hit and had an impressive 11 strikeouts in seven full innings.

Thanks to this triumph, John Schneider’s men have just triumphed five times in as many occasions against the White Sox.
