Tlaxcala Judo Athletes Shine with Gold and Silver Medals at 2023 Conade National Games

VILLAHERMOSA, TABASCO.- Bárbara Natalia Padilla Rugerio and Ariadna George Zárate from Tlaxcala gave Tlaxcala a gold and silver medal, respectively, to close the entity’s participation, with three medals, in judo at the 2023 Conade National Games, at the Center of Conventions in this city in the southeast of the country.

Padilla Rugerio had to beat Miriam Silva in the final, by gold point, even and dramatic combat, from start to finish.

The Tlaxcalteca finished the round of all against all of group A undefeated; In the sub-18 category, over 70 kilograms, she defeated Valentina Cotry from Baja California, Xóchitl Rosales from Aguascalientes, Naydelín Garduza from Tabasco and Yaretzi Mora by default.

Bárbara Natalia was favored by an error by the organizing committee, since the semifinal, which she lost to Miriam Silva, was repeated because it was not held with the correct confrontation of the four competitors.
