Ticket Sales Frustration: FC Twente and Hammarby IF Supporters Face Challenges

Tuesday morning at 9:00 a.m. for FC Twente season ticket holders, the presale for the home match against Hammarby IF started. In addition to buying back their own place, annual ticket holders can order a maximum of four additional tickets up to and including Tuesday 11 July 00:00. The tickets that are still available after that will be sold in the free sale. However, the tickets in the free sale are only sold to supporters with a club card.

An hour after ticket sales started for Twente supporters, Hammarby IF started ticket sales for the away section in the Grolsch Veste. The Swedes were allocated 1,500 tickets and, as expected, they were sold out in a very short time. Soon followed the first messages from disappointed fans who had missed a ticket. Some even tried it via the website of FC Twente.

Twitter showed, among other things, how a supporter shared that he had registered with FC Twente. Not knowing that FC Twente only sells the tickets to season ticket holders and then club card holders. Slowly this also seemed to get through to the fans from Stockholm. In addition, there were again some angry Hammarby fans who still believe they are entitled to more cards. Another supporter calls on the supporters without cards to storm the Grolsch Veste.
