In 2022, nearly 17,000 children were able to enjoy the activities organized on the banks of the Tarn, despite a partial closure due to the heat wave. How many will there be this year? Difficult to answer after a week of opening, but one thing is certain, this village of free sports activities has every chance of succeeding with its multitude of sports and its friendly atmosphere.
Saturday afternoon, it was therefore necessary to accept a few long minutes of waiting before recovering one of the many free tickets giving access to the various activities of the village. Enough to annoy the youngest, eager to enjoy the welcome cool place and especially to jump on the air trampoline. “Let go of your arms”, “do not be afraid”, “you do not need to force”, the emblematic attraction always has its small effect. An agitation that could almost disturb the animators, if they were not so used to this craze.

Next door, tree climbing and rock climbing are also a hit, but here it’s more concentration and skill that keep the youngest occupied under the proud and benevolent gaze of their parents.

For some the most difficult thing is still to decide, table football, table tennis, mini-golf, pedalo in a small pool or even a bouncy castle, the choice is vast. But surely not enough for a determined teenager. For her, it will be the archery range. “I’ve always dreamed of doing it. Every day until August 12, registration is from 10 a.m. for the morning activities and from 2.30 p.m. for the afternoon ones. The site is open from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Monday to Saturday, from 2:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, from 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesdays and Saturdays. A night is also organized every Wednesday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. On site, all sports activities are supervised by educators from the City, OMEPS, but also sports clubs and partner associations.
