The Bellegrave sports complex is hosting, from Thursday July 6 to Sunday July 9, the Victor Future Series Nouvelle-Aquitaine, an international badminton competition co-organized by the Ligue de Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the Gironde Badminton Committee and the ASCPA (Association Sportive and Culture of Pessac Alouette).
This second edition will bring together 210 players from 35 countries. This tournament is important in that it awards points for Olympic qualifications.
In addition, this competition aims to contribute to the development of sports practice among young people. Indeed, in total, nearly 200 schoolchildren from Pessac will be welcomed at the same time as the tournament so that they can discover and learn about this sport.
The program
Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., qualifications (free admission); Friday, from 9 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., 1/16th and 1/8th finals; Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., quarters and semi-finals; Sunday, finals from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with awards ceremony for the winners and finalists. Admission: 5 euros; 2 euros for FFBAD licensees; free for children under 12.
