Stankovic’s goal and braces from Steinmann and goalkeeper Eliott allowed the Swiss to take revenge on the Azzurri, who prevailed 5-3 in the group stage match.
Two more Swiss medals
Two more medals arrived for the Swiss delegation on the penultimate day of the European Games underway in Poland. Martin Dougoud won silver in the kayak slalom. The Genevan was beaten only by the Czech Jiri Prskave. Jenjira Stadelmann won bronze in badminton after being beaten by Danish Mia Blichfeldt in the semifinals.
