The national Para Badminton team is formed that will compete in Santiago 2023
Heading towards the Santiago 2023 Parapan American Games, the Mexican Paralympic Committee (COPAME) officially announced the national badminton team, which will represent the country in the continental tournament that will take place from November 17 to 26 .
In the men’s singles, Alfonso Quevedo Díaz (WH 1), Ángel Gabriel Gómez Vázquez (SL 3) and Gerardo Armando Castillo Silos (SH 6) will compete, while in the men’s doubles, Joaquín Isaac Palma Piñeiro and Arturo Zambrano Alejo will see action.
Maximiliano Ávila Sosa and María Guadalupe Rojas Pérez, make up the couple that will compete in the mixed doubles modality, within the contest.
Para Badminton will take place from November 22 to 26 and it will be in this next edition where it will make its second appearance in the Parapan American Games program after its debut in Lima 2019.
