And he intends to make things happen. ” I accepted the presidency to keep the JCR alive, relying on a close-knit team. We went through a difficult time with the loss of licensees during the pandemic. And the departure of the head coach, Stéphane Briend, did not help matters. We had to revitalize the club by welcoming new licensees against the backdrop of competition and leisure, while respecting the values of our sport. »

A chance for the new team, the JCR will once again be able to count on Nicolas Scott, 3rd dan coach, assisted by Richard Daniel, another 3rd dan.
The first, a sports educator, has proven himself on the national tatami mats, with qualifications for the French championships and titles at the interregionals of Alsace and Ile-de-France. They have, in their group, young people who went, this season, to the championships of France, like Titouan Joubrel and Lise Allain, 3rd in the regional, or Luis Ricaud.
“The JCR is also a training club. This season, we had fourteen black belts, including three new ones, in 2023. And three of our judokas, Victor Cordonnier, Marius Terrien and Louis Guillet, are at the hope pole.”adds the president of the club.
Self-defense on the program
The president and his team intend to start the 2023-2024 season in the best conditions. Training will take place at the Allaire dojo (Morbihan), on Tuesdays for teenagers and adults, and at the Redonnais Louis Juette dojo, on Wednesdays and Fridays, for all categories from baby to seniors. Self-defense classes are also scheduled on Tuesdays. Wilfried Guillet and his team will update the JCR website, and prepare for the recovery, with an open door, on September 2, 2023, and the association fair, the next day.
