This Monday, July 3, the Badminton Club of Saint-Marcel (BCSM) presented their white feathers to 8 young people from the badminton school.
The white feather is the 1st level of reward for young badminton graduates.
It is awarded by the facilitator when the young person validates about thirty exercises in the technical, tactical and theoretical fields.
It was after collective training in the indoor tennis courts that Stéphane Carlot, vice-president of the club and in charge of the badminton school, brought everyone together for a snack.
Before the feathers ceremony, the vice-president wanted to honor all the badminton school leaders: Louis, Jean-Marc, Franck, Jean-Gabriel and Christian.
The latter, who created the school in September 2018, challenged and supported by the president of the BCSM, Jonathan Souillot, was warmly thanked by the facilitators but also by all the young people of the school.
Indeed, Christian, who will remain licensed and invested in the club at the start of the school year, will take a step back in terms of animation:
« It is I who thank you for these moments spent together, I liked to animate each and every one of you, now place to the following and especially to the young people! he said, a bit moved to leave his students.
Stéphane Carlot also wished to congratulate two club volunteers who this year obtained the level 1 volunteer animator diploma: Louis and François.

Now it’s time for the holidays since the badminton school will be on summer vacation from July 8th. The recovery is scheduled for Saturday September 2 at the COSEC in Saint-Marcel from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Next major event for the BCSM: the 3rd edition of the Blackminton (badminton in the dark, in fluo and music, in a crazy atmosphere!) which will take place on October 6th and 7th at the Saint-Marcel Dojo.
