The competition attracted nearly 600 workers and contestants from 36 teams from the Federation of Trade Unions of various provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) and national industrial trade unions. During the 4-day competition day, the contestants fully carried forward the sportsmanship of friendship first and fair competition, competed with each other and showed the charm of badminton.
There was a lot of voices at the competition site, and the enthusiasm of the audience was high. Jumping and smashing, chasing after each other, the light pace and changing tactics of the contestants kept heating up the field, and there were laughter and cheers one after another.
The competition is divided into two groups of A (youth) and B (middle-aged) for a three-match mixed team competition, including men’s doubles, women’s doubles, and mixed doubles. After fierce competition, the top eight mixed teams of Group A (youth) and Group B (middle-aged) were determined. Among them, the Zhejiang Provincial Team, the National Defense Post and Telecommunications Team, the Guangdong Federation of Trade Unions, and the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Federation of Trade Unions won the first, second, and third places in the A (Youth) Group respectively. The Guangdong Federation of Trade Unions, the Hebei Federation of Trade Unions, The Beijing Federation of Trade Unions and the Chongqing Federation of Trade Unions won the first, second and third places in Group B (middle-aged) respectively.
Representative teams of Qinghai Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Trade Unions, and Hebei Provincial Federation of Trade Unions won the Excellent Organization Award.
