The recent Basketball Champions League champion Telekom Baskets Bonn has parted ways with TJ Shorts.

The Basketball Champions League was literally stormed by TJ Shorts last season. The American star, who had a great performance in his first season at Telekom Baskets Bonn, led his team to the Basketball Champions League championship.

Telekom Baskets Bonn has officially announced that they are parting ways with TJ Shorts, whose contract expires this summer. Shorts was named MVP of the regular season in the German League as well as the Basketball Champions League.

The star point guard is expected to sweat the jersey of the French League team Paris Basketball next season. The Paris team brought in Tuomas Iisalo, who left Telekom Baskets Bonn this summer to head the team.

TJ Shorts, who left Crailsheim Merlins last summer and joined Telekom Baskets Bonn squad, made a name for himself throughout Europe with his performance.

The 25-year-old star, who played in a total of 19 BCL competitions, averaged 19.5 points, 3.6 rebounds and 6.8 assists per game.
