Teammates Turn Against Kylian Mbappé as Tumultuous Relationship with PSG Deepens

The relationship between Kylian Mbappé and PSG continues to be tumultuous, and now even teammates seem fed up with the French international’s statements.

In an interview with “France Football”, Mbappé said that PSG is “a divided club”, which constantly attracts “rumors” around the team. The forward even spoke of “glass ceilings” and blamed the constant failures in the Champions League “on those who build the team”.

The striker’s corrosive words did not go down well within the Parisian squad, with “The Athletic” reporting that six players complained about the comments to the club president, with two of them being reinforcements for next season.

Mbappé has already communicated to PSG officials that he does not intend to renew the bond that links him to the French champions, which expires in 2024.

The decision left the Parisian club on edge, prompting them to look to sell the player this summer to prevent him from leaving for free.

Now guided by the Spaniard Luis Enrique, PSG has in its squad the Portuguese internationals Nuno Mendes, Danilo, Vitinha and Renato Sanches, who were recently joined by the Uruguayan midfielder Manuel Ugarte, signed from Sporting for 60 million euros.
