Angelina Köhler set a German record in the 100 meter butterfly at the swimming world championships in Fukuoka, Japan.

The 22-year-old from Berlin-Neukölln clocked 57.05 seconds in the intermediate heat on Sunday and was 17 hundredths of a second below her own best time, which she set in April. Köhler entered the final on Monday (1:09 p.m. CEST) in fifth place.
