The Spanish women’s Under 19 basketball team prevailed (93-65) this Wednesday against Chinese Taipei to access the quarterfinals of the World Cup that is taking place in Madrid, where they will face Lithuania on Friday at the WiZink Center.
After a pristine group stage, the hostess added their fourth win in the tournament with the arrival of the crosses. At halftime, a 46-37 score reflected the good work of Spain, but at the restart, the Spanish team hit the table.
Iyana Martín was the best player in the match held at the Jorge Garbajosa Pavilion in Torrejón de Ardoz, with 14 points and a PIR of 24.
