Spain Announces 16 Players for 2023 World Cup Preparation

The national coach Sergio Scariolo has confirmed today the 16 players to prepare for the next 2023 World Cup to be held between August and September in Japan, Indonesia and the Philippines.

Spain is in Group G and in the first round they will face the teams of Brazil, Iran and the Ivory Coast. His debut will be on August 26 at the Jakarta headquarters against the Ivorians.

The team led by Scariolo will try to revalidate the title won in China 2019 where they beat Argentina in the final by a final score of 75-95, with Ricky Rubio being MVP of the tournament and included in the Best Quintet of the tournament along with Bogdanovic, Fournier, Marc Gasol and Luis Scola.
