The Ristopro Janus Basket Fabriano is pleased to announce that Simone Centanni will remain in white and blue also for the 2023/24 season, he is the third member of Coach Grandi’s roster.
Always a nightmare for the defenders of the category thanks to its lethality in shooting, both from the average and (above all) behind the arc; the number 6 biancoblu is in fact one of the best in his role in Serie B, of which he was the top scorer in the 18/19 season with over 21 points per game. Last year, after so many years in his native Ancona, the transfer to Fabriano arrived: here he proved to be a fundamental element of the Janus championship, forced to play a very high playing time (almost 40′ per game) due to injuries and misfortunes case; this did not limit Simone from contributing to the cause with 15.75 points and 3.65 assists per game. Centanni’s debut in the league was memorable, when in the complicated match against Empoli, he dragged Ristopro to victory with 26 points and 8 triples.
Another year in Fabriano, which can’t wait to welcome back its gunslinger, with the hope that it will be another “unforgettable” season.
