Sabrina Ionescu Breaks Record for Most Points in WNBA All-Star Game

Daughter of Romanian immigrants and just 25 years old, the player achieved a record of 37 points out of 40 possible during the All-Star Game this Friday. She watches the video.

The Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) All-Star Game gave away a mark this Friday that will be difficult to overcome: Sabrina Ionescu broke the record for points in the triple contest with a record of 37 points out of 40 possiblean amount that had never been achieved by either a woman or a man in this kind of competition.

He completed high school with a record of 119 wins and 9 losses, and a mark of 2,606 points scored. He joined the Oregon State University, where he studied Advertising and had outstanding sports work, to the point that he broke the NCAA record for triple-doubles and was the first player to surpass 2,000 points, 1,000 rebounds, and 1,000 assists.

She was the fastest player to record a triple-double in WNBA history: she did it in her sixth career game (aged 23 years, 163 days) against the Minnesota Lynx on May 18, 2021.

She was also the first to record a triple-double in less than three quarters (on June 12, 2022 against the Chicago Sky) and the first to record one with at least 30 points (against the Las Vegas Aces on July 6, 2022). On August 7, 2022, she became the first WNBA player to surpass 500 points, 200 rebounds and 200 assists in a season. She did it in a match against Phoenix Mercury.

The impact that the escort has generated in recent years has led several of the main brands in the United States to seek it out.
