With a poster made by him, the boy was in line on the River field and the cameras captured him. “I’m Santi, I did 1,200 km wanting to fulfill my dream”, was the legend.

Maximiliano Grillo, a journalist for TNT Sports, saw him and the little boy told his story. “Seeing River was my dream. All I wanted to do is see River. I dreamed of it all my life and it came true,” said the little boy. When asked about the tickets, Santi’s doubts showed what the big problem was.

“It’s my dream, for life”

There, his father entered the scene to tell how he started all this dream: “It was a Father’s Day gift for both of them, it was a dream of his forever. As a birthday present he only asked for the pitch, he didn’t want a birthday or anything, he just wanted to go see River. The mother gave us both and well, it was a dream”.

However, already in Buenos Aires, the bad news complicated the family moment. “Yesterday we tried again (to get tickets) and seeing him cry when we couldn’t get it broke both our hearts, but hey we said ‘let’s enjoy what we can,’” she revealed.

“I thank you very much, it is my dream, for life. I thank you very, very much. Thank you,” she said with a huge smile on her face. And she added very excited: “I didn’t know this was going to happen. I am very happy to come to see the field”.
