Rivan Nurmulki Criticizes PBVSI’s Lack of Financial Support for Indonesian Volleyball Players

Jakarta, tvOnenews.com – Opposite hitter of the Indonesian men’s volleyball team, Rivan Nurmulki, criticized PBVSI after Farhan Halim cs won the SEA V League 2023 in the second round.

Rivan criticized PBVSI by uploading stories on his Instagram account, Monday (31/7/2023). At first he was responding to an article regarding the reason why Indonesian volleyball does not have a world ranking because it rarely participates in competitions.

The Surabaya BIN Samator player also agreed to this. Rivan said that the reason PBVSI management rarely included the Indonesian National Team to compete was because of money problems.

“Every competition has no reason to have funds. How do you want to develop the nation’s children,” Rivan responded.

“Other countries rely a lot on sponsors for the progress of sports. So if you can’t get sponsors, you don’t have to be an administrator,” continued Rivan.

However, Rivan is grateful that PBVSI is starting to improve. The Indonesian volleyball sports parent has also actively registered the men’s and women’s squads to participate in various tournaments.

Throughout 2023, the Indonesian men’s and women’s national team have competed in the AVC Challenge Cup to the SEA V League.
