Reunion with Devin Booker – Sports

Bayern Munich basketball players have brought back power forward Devin Booker. The 32-year-old American already played for Munich from 2016 to 2019, who announced the transfer on Monday. Four years ago, Booker said goodbye to Russia after his second championship title and decided with a high-paying offer for the then up-and-coming Euroleague club Khimki Moscow. After two years and problems with salary payments in the second season, he moved to Turkish top club Fenerbahce Istanbul. Booker also stayed in the Turkish metropolis for two seasons and has now signed a contract with his former club until 2025. “It already feels like coming home,” says Booker, who is currently at home in South Carolina with his wife and four children. Even during his first engagement, the 2.05 meter tall powerhouse emphasized that he felt very comfortable in Munich: “I always knew that I would return to Bayern again – the only question was when. Now is the perfect moment.” For coach Pablo Laso, the Power Forward ds is the right piece of the jigsaw puzzle in the big positions: “He gives us versatility and at the same time he is someone who knows the city, the club and the culture. So he will adapt quickly. He’s a great addition to our squad.” The fans should also look forward to Booker, who was not only a crowd favorite in Munich because of his extravagant hairstyles.
