The combination lottery for the 54th Saga Prefecture Boys’ Baseball Championship/NTT West Japan Cup Scramble Tournament (sponsored by the Prefectural Rubber Baseball Federation/Saga Shimbun, sponsored by NTT West Saga Branch) was held on the 30th at the Saga Shimbun in Saga City. The opponents of 32 teams have been decided.
Prior to the lottery, NTT West Saga branch manager Hirohisa Kunimoto and chairman of the prefectural softball baseball federation Tomoyuki Kihara said, “Restrictions on the new coronavirus have been eased, and you can also cheer for your voice. Play as hard as you can. I want it.” In the lottery, in addition to the combinations, it was also decided that captain Takuhiro Yamashita of the Mikazuki Sluggers would take the oath, and that the first pitch would be taken by Takeuchi Sports Boy Scouts.
