Representative Kwon Chil-seung Inspects Pre-Opening Projects in Taean District 3

This site visit was prepared for pre-opening inspection of Jinan-dong Multipurpose Gymnasium, listening to the construction status of Jeongjo-hyo Senior Welfare Center in Taean 3 District, and pre-opening of Jeongjo-hyo Park. The site visit was accompanied by provincial councilors Kim Hoe-cheol, Park Jin-young, and Lee Eun-ju, and city council members Bae Hyun-gyeong, Lee Hae-nam, Yoo Jae-ho, Wi Young-ran, and Jang Cheol-gyu.

The multipurpose gym in Jinan-dong, with a total project cost of 4.6 billion won, is composed of badminton courts, basketball courts, shower rooms, and locker rooms. Construction began in December 2021 and was completed in May, and the surrounding environment improvement work is currently being completed. Representative Kwon Chil-seung has secured 1 billion won from the government for the budget for the construction of a multipurpose gym in Jinan-dong.

Rep. Kwon Chil-seung visited the multi-purpose gym in Jinan-dong and said, “The multi-purpose gym we promised to the residents of Jinan-dong is about to open.”

Afterwards, Congressman Chil-seung Kwon, who moved to District 3 of Taean, visited the construction site of the Jeongjo-hyo Senior Welfare Center in Hwaseong-si, checked ‘whether the construction was completed in November’ and ‘safety issues of the welfare center construction’, and encouraged the construction officials.

Hwaseong-si Jeongjohyo Senior Welfare Center is being developed as the largest senior welfare center in Hwaseong-si (total floor area: 7,962.1㎡, 1 basement floor to 3 floors above ground). Jeongjohyo Senior Welfare Center will provide a variety of resting spaces and participation programs to users with a physical therapy room, a chess room, a table tennis room, a DIY craft room, a leisure activity room for the elderly, and a calligraphy art room. With more than 29,000 elderly people residing in the jurisdiction, high demand is expected.

Representative Kwon Chil-seung visited Jeongjohyo Park for the last time and carefully looked at the current state of park development, including the park entrance and trails, and checked for deficiencies and supplementary items. Jeongjohyo Park, built near Yunggeolneung, is about to open temporarily on the 14th. It is known that they are contemplating revitalization plans to honor and imitate King Jeongjo’s filial piety in connection with Yunggeonneung and Chojangjiteo.

Representative Kwon Chil-seung said, “The Jeongjo-hyo Senior Welfare Center and Jeongjo-hyo Park are expected to establish themselves as bases for history, culture, and welfare containing the filial piety of King Jeongjo.” “he said.
