CASTELLAMONTE – Another very positive weekend for the good baseball players of Redclay Castellamonte. On Saturday afternoon, 8 July 2023, the two matches in the under12 category against the Kings of Castellamonte were played on the diamond of the city of ceramics. An exciting double derby that finished with one victory for each side. The first match was won by the Kings 7 to 1, while the second match was won by the Redclay 9 to 6. At the end of the match, a third half with a standing ovation in an atmosphere of celebration, friendship and tasty snacks.
On Sunday, July 9, the third from last match of group B of the baseball series C was played in the afternoon. The boys of the red-violet team prevailed 5-4 against the Desperados of Turin. This result brings the Redclay Canavesans to second place in the group. In attack there were a few too many men on the bases without scoring, while in defense the players from Castellamonte performed very well. Good job on the mound for starting pitcher Patrick Scarabello (4 innings) and reliever Nicholas Gaido Nicholas (5 innings). (in the picture also the Serie C rooster)
