Preparing for the New Season: Pallacanestro Grosseto’s Plans for Success

The 2022-23 competitive season has been archived, Pallacanestro Grosseto is fully operational in view of the new season.

“We are engaged on several fronts – confirms the president Luca Giannini – in June we summoned athletes and parents of each team to discuss the season that has just ended, collect needs, proposals and we told them what type of unity is indispensable around the new management and to the first team”.

From this year, the PGR has begun to organize ad hoc morning sessions of technical improvement during the summer period, which will make our athletes hungry for basketball mature. “It is – explains the president – a further opportunity, totally free, which testifies to the attention that the club pays to individuals as well as to the group, because it is from individual improvement that the successes of the teams then arise. We want to give continuity to the work in the gym, while we carry on the growth and collaboration project with partner companies.

We are aware that there is no magic wand to renew enthusiasm, give punctual organization and nurture an authentic “PGR’s feel”, but the availability of our coaches is exemplary and as our first objective – recalls Giannini – year after year we will strengthen a heritage of identity and of belonging to the PGR colours, with sporting, human and friendship values from kids up to the first team”.

Meanwhile, the management is fine-tuning the organizational chart for the new season, completing the puzzle of coaches and executives responsible for each team, with some promising news.
