Philipsen, intractable, signs the triplet in the “sprint” of the Tour

This eighth day of the Tour de France will be divided into two parts, where a first one will be completely flat and will end with a leg-breaking stretchwhich will be perfect for an escape and it will be more difficult for the team of arrivals to control the situation.

This edition, the Belgian Jasper Philipsen has been confirmed as the strongest “sprinter” after signing his third victory in this type of race in Bordeaux, ahead of the British Mark Cavendish who came close to signing his 35th victory.

During this stage, it is unlikely that all the sprinters will surpass the leading group in the final stages and, those who do, will still have to look for resources, because the finish line is on an upward slope with up to 5% unevenness.
