Betclic ELITE – Paris Basketball has formalized the signing of interior Enzo Shahrvin until 2026.

After having formalized the signing of Nadir Hifi at the beginning of June then of two players who arrived from Bonn, Michael Kessens and Leon Kratzer, Paris Basketball has just done the same concerning Enzo Shahrvin (2.01m, 20 years old). Hyperactive player who took advantage of the lack of rotation at Élan Béarnais to experience a first full professional season in 2022-2023 (4.8 points at 73.7% shooting success, 4 rebounds and 1.8 fouls in 11 minutes) , he will try to settle a little more on position 4, where he can take over from the experienced Michael Kessens. It’s a return to the Paris region for the man who started basketball in U13 at Gif-sur-Yvette, in Essonne, before moving to Toulouse to join the Pôle Occitanie, then to Pau to continue his training at l’Élan Béarnais. The French international (in U20, in 2022, a year in advance) will settle there since he has signed a three-year contract with Paris. Enough to continue to grow with the club which will eventually play in the Arena Porte de la Chapelle and also hopes to join the EuroLeague from the 2024-2025 season, after a second season in the EuroCup.

“Enzo is destined for a brilliant future and with work and rigor he can become a very high level pivot, believes his future coach Tuomas Iisalo. He is a unique player: the mixture of speed and physical power is very rare. He already showed last season that he contributes to the game with an effective finish, his protection of the basket as well as his qualities as a rebounder and I also like how he sees the game as a passer. These are all the qualities that make it a perfect fit for our project. Enzo’s arrival also suits the club’s DNA of finding young talent and helping them develop. »
