Paris 2024: LVMH becomes a Premium Partner and will bring its creative excellence and know-how to the various celebratory highlights

One year before the start of the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, LVMH has become a Premium Partner of this global event. This unprecedented merger will allow the Group’s artisans to bring their experience and creativity, the best of French know-how and art of living, to the organization of this celebration of high-level sport like no other.

Paris 2024 has decided to entrust a certain number of essential missions to the artisans of the LVMH group. Among these: thehe design, by Maison Chaumet, of Olympic medals and Paralympic medals. Rich in a centuries-old Parisian heritage, Chaumet will put all its know-how to imagine the design of these exceptional pieces which embody, for all athletes, the absolute reward of many years of self-sacrifice and commitment to performance.

The Maisons of Moët Hennessy will contribute their excellent products as part of the hospitality programs of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and contribute to the quality of the guest experience. Sephora will be a partner of the Olympic Torch Relayduring which activations will be offered to the public, as well as during visits and stops at Group sites.

Between now and the opening ceremony, the Group and its Houses – in particular Louis Vuitton, Dior and Berluti – will unveil, in agreement with Paris 2024, the various aspects of their commitment, a commitment that will allow LVMH to be the Artisan of all victories. LVMH is also committed to directly supporting, on the way to the Games, certain athletes, whose journey is exemplary and has made them the Artisans of all victories. The first of them is Leon Marchand who, at 21, is a triple world swimming champion, holds the world record for the 400m medley, and is one of the greatest medal hopes of the French Olympic team.

Finally, in the dynamic of the partnership with Paris 2024, LVMH wishes to extend its societal commitment to the sporting field, vector of dreams and positive impact. To initiate this process, LVMH is committed alongside the French People’s Aida long-standing partner, to support a very concrete initiative for access to sport for 1,000 children and young people aged 4 to 25, in precarious situations, providing funding for sports licenses, internships and initiations to sport.

From the start of the Paris 2024 adventure and even before the awarding of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, LVMH made a commitment to the bid committee to support the Paris file. Cradle of a large number of its Houses, the city of Paris is intimately linked to the history and success of the Group which, for its part, is deeply attached to it.

This partnership is part of the dynamic initiated for many years by LVMH and its Maisons in favor of high-level sport and the most prestigious international competitions. From the creation of numerous trophies to the design of the trunks serving as their cases, the Group’s Maisons have long been involved in the sporting world, in a wide variety of disciplines: tennis, rugby, basketball, football and motor racing.

Bernard Arnault, Chairman and CEO of LVMH “This unprecedented partnership with the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games will help promote France around the world. It was only natural for LVMH and its Houses to associate themselves with this major international event. The values of passion, excellence and inclusion that high-level sport promotes are those that our teams cultivate on a daily basis, guided by the constant desire to push their limits. Sport represents an infinite source of inspiration for our Houses, which will be keen to combine creative excellence and sporting performance by putting their know-how and daring at the service of this exceptional celebration. »
