Paraguayan Delegation Excels with Four Medals at Panamerican Judo Tour Junior

A very good harvest of four medals was obtained by the Paraguayan delegation that competed in the Panamerican Judo Tour Junior, which took place in Lima, Peru.

A total of four medals, one silver and three bronze were obtained by Paraguay in the Pan-American contest that was held in Inca lands.

The athlete Marcelo Vicentini (1st in the World ranking in the -66kg Category) lost in the final to the representative of Chile but reached the highest point for our team by hanging the silver medal.

In the -81 kg category, judoka Diego Noguera got the bronze medal after defeating the representative of Peru.

In relation to Mateo Ortiz Cabral (number 5 in the world ranking in -60 kg) he fought and won the dispute for the bronze medal also against the local representative.

And finally the fourth medal went to the national judoka Ezequiel Duarte in the -66kg category who fought and won the bronze medal dispute against the Venezuelan representative.
