The Interregional Serie B is upon us for Pallacanestro Sestri, and Genoa returns to the cadet series afterwards fifteen years
. The groups have been outlined by the FIP, with the Seagulls having been entered
in the Tuscan geographical area rather than the Piedmontese one, as hypothesized on the eve.
A Group B which sees the participation of teams of great tradition and high level, with the addition
of Sestresi and Piedmontese of Derthona Basket Lab. Also noteworthy is the Ligurian derby against Spezia
Basket Club, second regional category team.
The formula provides for a first phase with an Italian group, in which the Sestresi will face all
opponents at home and away, followed by a second phase. The first four of each group will be
inserted in the Play-in Gold Group, those from the fifth to the eighth in the Silver Play-in Group, while those
from ninth to twelfth in the Playout Group, always keeping the points obtained in the first phase with
the teams in their group.
The first four of the Play-in Gold Group access the Playoffs as well as
the first two of the Play-in Silver Group, while the last two of the Playout Group are relegated to Serie C e
the third from last will carry out a safety play-off.

which will be a complex group, not easy, but we are working to get to the starting tapes ready
to compete. We want to do well.”
