Road cycling gave Venezuela a new gold medal at the San Salvador 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games. Orluis Aular won the cycling tournament this Friday.

The Yaracuyano achieved victory with a time of 3:51:10 in the Usulután circuit, in the Salvadoran capital.
The podium was completed by the Colombian Miguel Angel López (Second) and the Guatemalan Dorian Monterroso (Third).
Aular’s victory was the only one for Venezuela in cycling in this edition of the Central American Games.
Venezuela is currently fourth in the medal table with 30 gold medals, surpassed by Cuba in third place (70 gold medals), Colombia in second place (80 gold medals) and Mexico is in the lead with 140 gold medals.
