It was a battle against the elements, with those from Bermeo resigning themselves to winning Donostiarra, since their partials were not close to those of Ziérbena. The other battle was that of Meira to get two other teams below, Cabo da Cruz, and a sunken Santurtzi that reached the finish line almost a minute and a half behind the winner of the test. SD Samertolaméu starts the League on the right foot.

The trainer –who also rowed– assures that “In the first two lengths we were good. In fact, the second length was the best of the entire batch.
