Nine athletes from the MRC des Appalaches will take part in the 57th Final of the Quebec Games.
They will be four in athletics; Éllyane Dallaire from Thetford, Émilie Bédard from Saint-Joseph-de-Coleraine, Raphaëlle and Marianne Jacques from Adstock. On the women’s regional baseball team; Charlie Routhier from East Broughton and Magalie Boulanger from Thetford will be there; and women’s soccer; Delphine Gosselin, Éva Dostie and Léanna Métivier, all from Thetford, will represent the region.
July 21 will mark the start of competition with events in track and field, men’s baseball, basketball, swimming, triathlon, road cycling and beach volleyball. The second block of competition will begin on July 26 and will include the disciplines of women’s baseball, a first at the Quebec Games, mountain biking, golf, soccer and volleyball.
